When are you going to be in Nashville?
Fair warning the Opry is not a real concert. It's a 3 hour show with commercials through out and you headliner will play at most 1 hour sandwiched between old song writers. Not saying its necessarily bad just don't expect to see the headliner sing a whole lot.
People will say to go to the Loveless. A) It is on the complete other side of town from where you are staying.
The food is okay but not worth the wait, the drive, the hype...
The Hermitage is extremely expensive and pretty small, also you can't actually go very far into the house.
The quality of the singers in the honky-tonks on Lower Broadway/2nd Ave gets better the later in the week you go and the later in the night also. For heaven's sake don't go to Margaritaiville. Jack's is probably the best bet for food on Lower Broad.
If you are coming in the fall, Preds tickets are pretty easy to come by during football season.
I have only done a few of the touristy things that people that come to visit me want to go see, but if you have specific questions ask and I'll let you know what I thought or have heard.
