I scoffed at the people a couple months ago who said he could go in a slump this year. I'm starting to open up to the idea now though. Maybe he'll fall apart by the time they come to oxford

I'm not a hater, and I certainly don't hate Manziel. Why would I? I am just making the point that people in the spotlight have to be more aware of what they're doing.

Yeah and "Well he won the heisman he's a college kid he's 21 let him live and have a little fun" is no excuse. The guy is an Heisman winning SEC quarterback. You are held to higher standards than the regular Johnny Barhop, and he knew that once he won it

You're absolutely right, which goes against my earlier post in the thread.  But my point was in spite of that fact, I'm not gonna fault him.  Sure, he SHOULD be making some better decisions because of how he should present himself now that he's a national celeb and Heisman winner.  But I would be doing the same stuff he's done, which as c4e pointed out, really isn't a big deal.

If he showed up drunk to Archie's camp, of all the stuff he's been hated on, this is actually the "worst" thing he's done and it's really not a big deal.  I'd imagine he probably said some smartass stuff that got him sent him...no way he's the only guy at a college summer football camp who pounded some brews the night before.

Lots of what ifs and no proof so far other than rumors from a rumor website.

" (Dakota) Prescott completed 58.4 percent of his passes in 2013, 11th among the 13 SEC quarterbacks with enough attempts to qualify. He threw 10 touchdowns to seven interceptions, a TD-to-INT ratio more on par with Arkansas' Brandon Allen (13-10) than Manziel. "  -Hugh Kellenburger

Bullshit. ESPN confirms he left and it wasn't for partying. STFU about it.
