This will drip and drag on for months.......and potentially could make this administration's second term completely impotent.

It's beginning to seem like 1973 again all around Washington..........

It's the incompetence of Carter combined with the malice of Nixon.  It's the perfect storm of corruption...

Money quote in the first paragraph...

Quote

The search warrant filed to investigate the Fox News reporter James Rosen proved as many had suspected: President Obama wants to make it a crime for a reporter to talk to a leaker. It is a further example of how President Obama will surely pass President Richard Nixon as the worst president ever on issues of national security and press freedom.

James Goode is the guy who represented the NY Times in the Pentagon papers case....

I never thought I would see everyone this calm about prezbo surpassing Carter for incompetence and Nixon for corruption. Truly the worst President of the United States of America ever.

Iran Contra had 14 convictions and derailed the Reagan Political tree, with 4-5 scandals ongoing worse than Iran-Contra and Watergate I would hope the same comes of this.

A Democrat on the House’sPosted Image investigative committee raised the specter of a special prosecutor on Wednesday to investigate political targeting of conservative groups at the IRS from 2010 to 2012.

Rep. Stephen Lynch, Massachusetts Democrat, warned IRS and Treasury Department witnesses before the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform not to stonewall congressional efforts to get to the bottom of the scandal.

“We know where that will lead, it will lead to a special prosecutor. … There will be hell to pay if that’s the route that we choose to go down,” he said.

If a few Dems can get on board with a special prosecutor then this might get the ball rolling. One here, the AP fiasco and Bengahzi would be enough to get someones attention.

this will only scare the people that already know to be scared.

"The DHS appears to have finally found a use for all those bullets it’s been buying. At a Tea Party protest outside an IRS building in St. Louis yesterday there were no regular police – only armed Homeland Security guards."

Rep. Cynthia Lummis (R-Wyo.) didn’t use her allotted time to ask any questions of the officials testifying before the committee, but she issued some harsh words for the IRS regarding its targeting campaign.

“This is far worse than anything we’ve seen in Watergate or that the government has done to the government, because this is the government turned against the very people who hired them, who trusted them,” the congresswoman said.

Lummis described the IRS as a Goliath that had turned on the people.

“You have people relying on trust, and that trust is absolutely gone,” she said. “I have no idea how we can restore the trust that has been destroyed as a result of this. The IRS has let down the very people they are supposed to serve.”

Interesting. Seems she waived her 5th amendment protection. I didnt think you could do that. If it stands this is huge. She will talk or go to jail til she does.
