This show has run its course

Jack Posted Image happened this entire season.

Writers line of thinking: "lets build up something all season, only to not do anything, and kill someone" "sound good?" "k"

"Oh yeah, and lets show them dragons a couple times"

At least there is True Detective to look forward to

His storyline was not one of my favorites, and since they left him off this season entirely, I fear next season will be Bran heavy.

Not a reader of the books, so I'm not wholly sure what value a live Stannis has to the show, but a live Jon advances the story in a ton of ways for me.

well what I learned recently is that books four and five are not consecutive.   the content runs simultaneously.

theres just so much superfluous detail like this son is the bastard of this knights grandfather who owned this land until this princess bit his wifes daughters husbands weenie that its split into two books.

so it seems this season gave us the best of book four with book five highlights. so I guess next season may have the best of book five and the writers cross their fingers fur Mr. Two Middle Initials to produce another book.

Exactly what I was thinking, Matt was especially good. As far as any single season of any show..... that one is going to be extremely hard to beat

I think the wire and TD are in two totally different categories,  despite being in the same genre.

the overall vibe/outcome/character development was approached differently.   and I think part of that is the decade they were made in.

Good things? Probably the best show to ever grace TV.  No joke.

yes.
definitely give it a go.
its on  amazon prime, hbo go, etc.

the first episode of each season may seem slow.
but there's so much to introduce.
just get past that and its awesome.

Silicon Valley is a pretty good show, it has more potential than laughs. A lot of good comedians and yet I find myself wanting more. 25-27 minute episodes may be why.

The shock factor has worn on me.
The only character left that I like is Sansa- and she is kind of terrible anyway.
