With Mizzou now in the SEC, I think we now have enough members that are Cardinal fans that we can start our own thread.

This thread is for ANYTHING you Cardinal fans want to talk about... (Pertaining to Cardinal baseball)

Sweet we get our own thread this year. I think our best bet is to have Shelby as the fifth starter and to move Kelly to the bullpen. I am excited to see what some of the young guys can do this year and I think Matt Adams will be a great pinch hitter.

So.......there's 4-5 Cardinals fans now?

Just messing with y'all. Good to see our hated rival has a thread of it's own now.

You consider us  a hated rival? I don't hate the Braves at all and they are in no way a rival.

Good to hear, please don't mind us then, as we plan on whipping that Cardinal arse this year.

I would have to agree... I do like Kelly starting, but Miller gives us more innings without losing any production.

I went down to Jupiter a couple weeks ago and saw Wacha throw for the first time... I think Wacha will be amazing for us in the future.

I look for us to bring some young talent up a good bit this year... Hope we see Oscar Taveras a lot!

I really want to bring him up in the middle of the year and see what he is capable of. Hopefully he can help give us the little extra push to make a run at the playoffs.

I was thinking around the allstar break... That will be about the time that Beltran gets tired and his knee/shoulder/toe starts hurting again.

That brings us to this rotation:

Wainwright
Lynn
Garcia
Westbrook
Miller

Not too bad. If we can get 14 wins a piece with this rotation then I will be happy. I doubt Jaime will give us 14 Ws, but nevertheless.

The lineup card will predominantly look like this:

Jon Jay CF
Allen Craig 1B
Matt Holliday LF
Carlos Beltran RF
Yadier Molina C
David Freese 3B
Matt Carpenter 2B
Pete Kozma SS

From the looks of it... Our offense will be great... Defense, meh...
