If Spurrier had said his team was ready to compete for a national title you'd be saying"holy shit when will be ever shut up "... But dabo says it and you go"well what is he supposed to say?"

last I checked, Spurrier is one of the greatest coaches ever in the SEC and 2nd in all-time SEC wins behind Bear Bryant. He won a Heisman, has a national championship, and is in the Hall of Fame.

Just recently he has turned a doormat program into a program that finishes in the top 10 and has broken numerous records that many fans around the SEC thought impossible to do at South Carolina.

I say he's got more room to talk than just about anyone, especially Dabo.

Dabo has not got erratic yet. If UGA comes out the gate flat-(As they have for several years) & lose to clem. Then he will really be on cloud "9" & talking plenty of Shat. But I do not think that will happen, unless clem can score 60 points.

Abo is the coach that all the other coaches make fun of, behind his back. I imagine every other coach in an elevator, laughing as the door opens. They see Abo as it opens, and he steps in to join them. The laughing abruptly stops, and it all becomes dead silent as Abo says,"Wassup yo!" All the while Abo is standing in there thinking to himself, "Damn, I'm awesome."

LSU really let us down. They didn't just let the SEC down, but instead, the entire country. This buffoon of a "coach" truly thinks his team is National Title worthy and now everyone has to hear this garbage til late August.

I suppose, in another light, it does provide a smidge of entertainment. It's the weekly "What is this ignoramoose gonna say this time?" The sad thing is, I don't think he truly understands that he sounds like a total toolbag whenever he speaks. Even if he did, he probably just doesn't care.

You must not keep up with all of the sh!t that comes out of his mouth. Even a few of the national ESPN people refer to him as a cheerleader. Now, if that's the way a coach is then fine...they can lead their team however they see fit. But it opens you up for criticism. Dabo hasn't done much of anything. He pulls in top 15 classes every year and then plays teams like maryland, duke, vt, wake forest, nc state, georgia tech, etc. ,etc. He should have a good record. Sure he won the conference....but like I said it was when no team in the acc finished in the top 20. Then he went on to set a record for embarrassment in the BCS bowl. Hell, the acc is 3-13 in BCS Bowls...and that's counting f$u playing northern illinois this past season. Then little phaggots like swinney come along and try to say that the acc is on the same level as the SEC. Like I said...he can say whatever he wants to, but it opens him up to criticism.

Spurrier is actually very honest about his teams chances. When he got here he never talked shit. And when we're bad he'll be the first person to say it. It was only in the last few years that he ever said we may be able to compete for the division, and the only time he said(that I remember) we could compete for the SEC title is when we returned a 3,000+ yard passer, a 1,500 + yard WR , and a 1,000+ yard RB from the season before( a season in which we won the East). He's completely honest about his teams...whereas to hear dabo tell it his team should be winning national titles every year and plays similar competition to the SEC. everything else is analysis based on the opinion and interpretation of the author.

sentence one.....he says the sec wants everyone to think they are the best and that you cannot win a national title unless you play in the sec....clemson (and nearly every other university out there) does not agree that you have to be in the sec to win a national title.

sentence two....recruits dont believe that you have to be in the sec to win a title either.

sentence three......we and the recruits that sign with us are focused on doing our best to bring a title to clemson.

thats it....thats all he said.....im in class and cant listen to the youtube video, but based off the article, hes not saying acc > sec....hes saying that the idea that is often perpetuated is that you must be in the sec to win a title is false.  thats it....now, there is a bunch of analysis from the author trying to twist what he said into making everyone think dabo is an idiot (which he is) because he thinks (which he does not) the sec is inferior....dont get me wrong...dabo is an idiot, but not because of anything this article is trying to make you think.

Fact: the sec HAS dominated winning 7 straight national titles....a streak that WILL end (hopefully later rather than sooner), but that simple fact totally legitimizes everything he was quoted as saying.

look, im all about calling dabo an idiot, but the author is clearly putting words in his mouth.  we should all disprove of that.  3 sentences from dabo and the rest of the article from a questionable perspective trying to convince you that he said something that he in fact never said or implied.

that said, clemson and dabo is still a moron.
