Since 2006 (SEC) we have had 3 ten or more wins seasons, how has OM fared in that time frame? Please do check the 70's and 80's too. From 1970-1989 OM made 5 bowl games. We were busy cementing our legacy as a top 25 program of all time in those years. Not even a complete 20 year dogshit run by our program puts OM in the same stratosphere as us.
The 70's and 80's are irrelevant. They were done in the SWC. Most of Arkansas' arrogance comes from that time frame.
Y'all have done quite well since you've been in the SEC, no doubt. But you can just go ahead and cut that "We are superior to Ole Miss because of the 60's, 70's, and 80's out right now. You had Texas as your competition then, that was it. Not Bama, Not UGA, nor any of the other SEC powers then, as now.
I know quite well OM's history in the 70's and 80's; not good at all.
Your postseason record is absolute garbage; it's 13-23-3, compared to Ole Miss' 22-12-0, all the while being in the SEC.
You have 1 NC to our 3, all of whom for both of our schools were in the late 50's and early to mid 60's.
As I say, I give credit where credit is due; y'all have just a slightly better all-time record than us. But your bowl record comes nowhere close to ours and you have less NC's. Both facilities are excellent and are great universities as a whole.
But this unfounded arrogance coming from Arky is nonsense.
ETA: Put Tennessee in there in the powers of that era.
