Since 2006 (SEC) we have had 3 ten or more wins seasons, how has OM fared in that time frame?  Please do check the 70's and 80's too.  From 1970-1989 OM made 5 bowl games.  We were busy cementing our legacy as a top 25 program of all time in those years.  Not even a complete 20 year dogshit run by our program puts OM in the same stratosphere as us.
The 70's and 80's are irrelevant. They were done in the SWC. Most of Arkansas' arrogance comes from that time frame.
Y'all have done quite well since you've been in the SEC, no doubt. But you can just go ahead and cut that "We are superior to Ole Miss because of the 60's, 70's, and 80's out right now. You had Texas as your competition then, that was it. Not Bama, Not UGA, nor any of the other SEC powers then, as now.

I know quite well OM's history in the 70's and 80's; not good at all.

Your postseason record is absolute garbage; it's 13-23-3, compared to Ole Miss' 22-12-0, all the while being in the SEC.
You have 1 NC to our 3, all of whom for both of our schools were in the late 50's and early to mid 60's.

As I say, I give credit where credit is due; y'all have just a slightly better all-time record than us. But your bowl record comes nowhere close to ours and you have less NC's. Both facilities are excellent and are great universities as a whole.

But this unfounded arrogance coming from Arky is nonsense.

ETA: Put Tennessee in there in the powers of that era.

Thank you for your input JoeDawg.

Such a pity we can't use our e-cash on here to make bets on stuff on SECTalk, bc I would bet on the term/name Ole Miss/JoeGator the Hater being absolutely, and irresolutely synonymous.

I'm saying that it's a pity we can't use our leftover e-cash on here from betting on the games during football season to bet on other stuff. I'm simply saying that if we could, I would bet 2900 of my 3000 left, on betting that you will always respond to any thread involving Ole Miss. lol

No arrogance coming from me, I know where Arkansas is in the pecking order of the SEC and it's quite a bit behind Bama, UF, UT(traditionally) UGA, lsu, (lately) yet miles ahead of OM.  I'm not even trying to make you mad, OM is about as nationally respected amongst people that are my age (34) as Vandy.  I live in the Carolinas and South Carolina, Clemson, North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, respect OM about as little as possible.  When they talk SEC sports out here MSU garners much more respect than OM athletically, that's just the way your university is viewed.

May the bridges I burn light the way.

There are no accusations b/c UT is a damn good program going through a rough period.  OM gets accusations b/c they're a shitty program who has been going through a rough period since 1960's.  I hate Tennessee but college football is better when they're good.  Glad you got a good commit UT.

Everyone thinks of Arkansas about as they do Missouri especially since they joined the SEC.  Doesn't quite fit and has an odd misfit fanbase... Different kind of breed over there in the ozarks of Little Rock  Fayetteville.   When did yall join 92'?   Cool man

He's going to have to learn to run with his pads lower.

He runs pretty upright for a kid that is 6'3".

Nevertheless, great get for Tennessee.
