I still haven't had a bad hangover no matter how much I drink, but I have a feeling it'll happen eventually, lol.

Not a bad problem to have

Ever since sophomore year of college I tried this regiment where I cut out every drink to my diet besides water (besides when I drink beer) and I think it's helped a lot in my overall well being. Just feel better overall. Don't feel so bad when I eat badly, and just knowing I'm always hydrated is nice.

I think I need to implement a couple cups of oj or milk during the week though, just to cover more bases

Unless I'm having a beer or a bourbon, it's strickly a cup of coffee in the AM and probably close to a gallon of H20 throughout the day.  I agree with it alone helping your appetite/health etc.  I generally try to limit my sodas to 1 per week, and even then it's usually a Coke Zero or something.

Too many family members battling kidney stones.  Less dark drinks, more water.  Heck, I even drink my bourbon with water.  I hydrate while I dehydrate.

I've had 3 weddings in a row the last 3 weeks and I have been absolutely miserable every Sunday.
Still on the struggle bus this morning.

Had a wedding this weekend.  Still hung over at 3:41 PM on Monday.  #thestruggle

I have 5 in the span of 7 weeks.
This was the 4th.
4 of the worst hangovers I've ever had.
You'd think I'd learn...

Unless you are drinking Posted Imagety whiskey, there is no reason to drink your bourbon with anything other than water or ice cubes.

I used to party all the time with this chick who mixed Evan and water. But I have no problem letting her out party me. That chick was and still is a badass

I drank so much whiskey during high school that by the time i got to college I couldn't smell it without wanting to hurl.
drank beer almost exclusively in college, to the point I could put down about a case on a Saturday night pretty easily.

Had to give that up. got back on the bourbon train. I keep a bottle of Bulleit and a bottle of Rocktown Rye on my bar at all times now.

Agreed 100%.  And just a splash of water at that.

If I am drinking, cheapo bourbon at the bar, I'll go with bourbon and club soda.  I guess the carbonation does a little better job than regular water with masking the cheapo bourbon.

Old man at Buffalo Trace said the only thing he'd ever mix in his bourbon would be ginger ale. because its neutral and doesn't ruin the bourbon taste.
