Wow, that's exciting.

The Bucs or Jags really needed to bring in the Teebster or Sexy Rexy.
Would have sold some tickets for a change.

No doubt, if Chase starts, even though I'm a rams fan, it'll put my butt in their seats for several games this coming season.

This is good for three reasons.

1) I really think he is a good back up quarterback, who can step in for Smith if he gets hurt or is Cassel 2.0...

2) It pumps up Tiger fans across the state.

3) It will piss off the kU fans somethin fierce.

Really think this is a good sing for the Chiefs. I know we were terrible last year, but there is cause for hope, again, coming into this season...

Wish they'd just make him the starter... I think he can win the position though... Not gonna lie Smith makes me go.... "meh"

I really think how we do this year depends less on the quarterback and more on Reid... Seems like we are making the right moves, and they have talent, but Reid will have to manage these bums to success...

I honestly think that Daniel could be a pretty good starter. Didn't he do good last year in preseason when he took 1st team reps for New Orleans? I hope that he can win the starting job and I agree with MizzouMark, Alex Smith doesn't impress me. I also like the fact that this will piss off the KU fans.

The kid spent many a game sitting behind Drew Brees. Looked good at times when given a chance to play in pre-season and mop-up duty. He could be a good play-action guy in a run-first offense, but he should only be looked at as a back-up or potential "spark-plug" should Smith struggle. Nothing more. Always fun when one of your guys comes back though. I'll be rooting for the kid.

I would think Chase'd be given every opportunity to take the starting job.  We've all seen what you'll get with Smith.  He's not your answer, but he's certainly a better option than Cassel.
