Vanderbilt topped Eastern Illinois 8-3 on a chilly Tuesday night. Freshman Walker Buehler tossed six scoreless innings to earn his first win. The Commodores pushed their winning streak to 10 games on Sunday with a walk-off 3-1 in 10 innings over Illinois-Chicago. Freshman Rhett Wiseman provided the heroics with his first career home run going over the right field bleachers. Vanderbilt clinched the series on Saturday behind starter Tyler Beede, winning 5-3 in the snow. Kevin Ziomek dominated in a 15-strikeout complete game shutout of Illinois-Chicago in Vanderbilt's 9-0 win on Friday night.
