Nothing he said was wrong. Everything he stated was 100% factual. But that doesn't mean you say it. The fact is that recruiting does matter and the more you spend and work on it(alabama) the more successful you will be.

I really don't think Texas is doomed to mediocrity in any way.
They are better than A&M in every way except conference affiliation.
