its so refreshing to have a small handful of bands that are popular (or growing in popularity) right now that actually play instruments (the black keys...been popular for some time, but still big, mumford and sons...same way, alabama shakes, etc) and are not just teeny-bopper 'pop' (yes, i qualify 'FUN.' in this category)
I hate fun, it's just indie hippster crap. I'm really late on Alabama Shakes, but that lady can sing. I hasn't heard much Mumford and sons, but they have a good sound. I'm just happy that music is going back to people who play instruments, and not just singers with no other talent.

Cars are fine. Add a little Brit to the mix just to gay it all up.

This a thousand times over. Popsters like the Bieber and Gaga are NOT musicians. They're a gimmick.
"Whenever I see those crimson jerseys and crimson helmets, I feel humbled to have played football for Alabama. Other players in the NFL talk to me about their schools and their traditions. I just smile knowing the immense love Alabama fans have for our school and its football program. I'm proud to be a part of that Crimson Tide heritage."

It's sad that Gaga had to pull the gimmic to get noticed. She has talent, the Canadian Davy Jones is a whole other rant.

All the hate on fun. is hilarious. Their most recent album is a huge diversion from their previous one, and the bands that the lead singer was in before fun. are great. They deserve every bit of the recognition they are getting. I'm not a huge fan of their music, but they are really talented musicians and good people.
