Never heard anyone speculate that AP was using any kind of substances when he made his crazy comeback this past year. Seems like Lattimore has that same kind of intensity and work ethic as Peterson. This is one of the best young men playing sports that I've seen in sometime, totally selfless and does things the right way. The main focus here should be that Latti will have a good chance of living his dream and succeeding in the NFL after many speculated his career would be over just 4 months ago. Couldn't be happier to see his progress.

Even if he is taking HGH or something that helps athletes recover at a faster rate, let em' do it.  This isn't the 60's anymore, if we have the technology to help guys get back on the field, then do it.  I'm not talking cortisone shots, I'm talking about good shit that are at these athletes/doctors disposal.  Good for him.  I don't think they should be able to use it to "workout" but in a recovery effort, I'm all for it.

May the bridges I burn light the way.

idc what hes taking. Kid has a great future ahead of him. He is the product of good parents who instilled great work ethic in him. You can take all the sups you want, results come from work.  Glad to see him doing well.  I still cringe watching his leg after that hit. Good luck kid. Ill be looking for you next year on my fantasy league.

is that a function of my computer or sectalk?

Alright well now it's just getting weird, hah...

Quote

Midway through the conversation, as South Carolina running back Marcus Lattimore started to get deep about his destiny last week, the receptionist seated behind a desk just a few feet away started to cry.

As she overheard Lattimore, who was chatting with NFL.com from a plush sofa chair in the lobby of Athletes' Performance at the Andrews Institute, she stood up, walked around her desk and kissed Lattimore's forehead with tears in her eyes.

"I've just been sitting over there crying as I'm listening," said Judy Pilkington, who has been working the front desk at API more than four years. "When (Lattimore) got hurt, I prayed immediately. I didn't even know him, but I felt like I knew him. People love him. And now he's here with me. Isn't that precious?"

Pilkington kissed his forehead again -- still crying -- and continued.

"He's awesome," she said. "He's just awesome. I'm telling you. We get a lot of good guys here (at Athletes' Performance). He is ... incredible."
