Liberty scored twice in the top of the fourth inning and held off a late rally by fifth ranked South Carolina to upend the Gamecocks 3-2 in the final game of a doubleheader on Sunday played in seven innings at Carolina Stadium. Despite the loss, the Gamecocks won the series and are now 2-1 on the year with Liberty 1-2 after the first weekend of play.
