Lose to Tennessee? They really think Auburn is THAT bad?

I think OM will be a toss up, I'm not on the freeze bandwagon yet. And yes, seriously, I really don't believe state is that good at football, I think 8-9 wins is as good as it ever gets for you guys under mullen, and I don't see a better coach than him going to your school. I watch MSU fall apart last season, like I predicted, and this season beating us is going to be a lot harder. I'm circling MSU as an indicator of malzahns potential, if he's going to be a good head coach he has to beat next years MSU team imo.

some argue mullen has reached his ceiling....some argue he has not, but one thing is for sure, we are done with our soft-ass defensive philosophy.....word is that mullen will go back to doing what he does best, calling the plays, but that has yet to be seen. we underachieved for sure, so what happens next year will be what you see from mullen for the rest of his time at state....good or bad. an aggressive defense and whatever he can bring to the table calling plays. we made some serious philosophical moves this off season, so the msu team is expected to look totally different.
we won't have a better record than last years team (unless something crazy happens), but i can almost guarantee we will be a much better team.
as far as auburn goes, i think yall have a solid hc, but there seems to be a rift between what yall have on paper and what is actually out there on the field....perhaps it was all coaching....perhaps not. time will only tell.
needless to say, i think yall are gonna have your hands full with om, state, tennessee, and arky, but my comment was more directed at the cfn prediction that arky is generally considered a better team in their current state than either om or state. bielema is going to be on a tough learning curve and its going to take him some time to realize he cant run on the sec the way he has done in the big 10. my comment was directed at that thought.....i dont expect auburn to concede defeat to msu, nor do i think they should. its gonna be a tough game, but i like our chances....in 2 seasons, i probably will feel differently, but history is on your side.

according to a few tennesse fans I know they're gonna be real nasty on D in 13 and 14 all they need is an offense to help it out , but of course they are the same ones that swore up and down Gruden would would be walking the sidelines for them this year

Ive got Auburn beating UT but losing to MSU or Ole Miss or both. That said they might as well take the last two weeks of the season off. Wont be pretty

I agree under Mullen. No way they get more than 8-9 wins with the lack of recruiting and any tougher schedule and they will soon be back on bottom. Mullen showed his lack of coaching ability last season as well. He's a decent coach at best
