Agreed. He was really squeezing the zone the first 4 innings. Both of us had a lot of base runners early. Really thought Fico was going to clear the bases in the 2nd with that shot to center but it hung up.

Perfect baseball weather today. I'm totally fine with getting 1 win out of this series. Although I'd like to get it today just to get it out of the way

I feel fairly confident the series will be decided today.

Lol it's funny that you really think Baum is a better ballpark than Swayze. It's not. This is one we can claim without homerism. We have the best atmosphere/park in college baseball. Just get used to it

It's going to be so much fun watching reality settle in on the rebs this season. Do you all honestly think you'll stay on top against Mullen for long? I couldn't even type that with a straight face. Do you all honestly believe that you'll have another number one recruit pick you again because of family obligations? lmao.

That he won't ever win you more than nine games in a single season. Put it your sig. In three years, when he's lost to State twice and he's standing next to Houston Nutt in the unemployment line, we'll be laughing.

Gamecocks take game 2 of the series 2-0.

The series finale begins in 30 minutes.

Lol, I was just kidding with the guy.

But Swayze is not a better ballpark than Baum. Alex Box is bigger but as nice. SC's is the only SEC stadium that rivals Baum. The designers of Swayze screwed the pooch when they covered half the place in concrete

And Baum is getting expanded, again, after the season. To at least 12k capacity with at least 6 more suites

Much better result today. The baseball Gods have spoken. I belong in the Hog Pen with grills and beer. I'll save the box for non-con games

I'm talking overall combination. Stadium/atmosphere Swayze tops both Baum and Box, but y'all's infrastructure is nicer

I wouldn't go that far.  For college kids/party in the outfield, you're probably right. But on a Packed house for a weekend series, it gets pretty crazy out there (just no beer showers).  The atmosphere is probably pretty similar actually.
