We probably could have scored 20+ yesterday. Stopped advancing runners after the 4th inning and cleared the bench the rest of the way. I know it's Western Illinois, but damn our pitching staff is going to be fun to watch

Southern Miss is a pretty good program. Idk what they return but knowing Mizzou, you'll probably get swept.

It's crazy, as big as the cards are here, no one gives a shot about Mizzou baseball

Hogs up 6-1 in the 6th. Again, could pretty much score more at will. Couldn't say that last year. Hitting looks much better so far.

We weren't hitting like this last year, no matter who we were playing. I'm not proclaiming ourselves world beaters already. But guys that struggled constantly last year are taking much better approaches at the plate. And we aren't striking out right now, which was a huge issue last year

I know Southern Miss is pretty good. I'll be happy if we win one. In Missouri, most people just care about the pro teams. Mizzou comes behind all of the pro teams and that is even for basketball and football. College baseball gets absolutely no recognition. It probably would get more if they put some of our games on a local channel like Fox Sports.

Florida is playing Duke, Missouri is playing Southern, LSU is playing Maryland, and Georgia is playing Georgia Southern.
Those and Ole Miss - TCU are the only decent series.
