Tied 2-2 in the 4th right now. Stanek needs to locate his pitches, or we may be in trouble next Friday facing Wahl

We lost our first game with Indiana yesterday and are currently losing 2-0 in the bottom of the first.

wow....whats going on in Gainesville?
“We who lived in concentration camps can remember the men who walked through the huts comforting others, giving away their last piece of bread. They may have been few in number, but they offer sufficient proof that everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms -- to choose one's attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one's own way.”

Let me get this straight. We're going to be "gifted" with a health care plan we are forced to purchase and will be fined for if we don't, written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that hasn't read it but exempts itself from it, signed by a president who smokes, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese and financed by a country that's broke.

What could possibly go wrong?

Can't win 'em all.

If there is any good to be taken from that loss (never really is, but here's my spin anyway), it's that the boys will be motivated from here on out to not lose another OOC game. That seems to be the mindset of the Fighting Bianco's, and so far as I can tell now that Cohen has his arms, that will probably be the mindset of the Fighting Cohen's as well.

“We are out of damns to give. We do not give one single damn,” Chancellor Dan Jones told reporters

It's best to get the loss out now. We knew it would come sooner or later. It'll be a good experience to see how the boys respond to it.

UCA is a decent squad.

4-8 or 5-7 .  The same way teams figured out the wild rebel offense after a year  this team will face the same obstacles.

It's going to be so much fun watching reality settle in on the rebs this season. Do you all honestly think you'll stay on top against Mullen for long? I couldn't even type that with a straight face. Do you all honestly believe that you'll have another number one recruit pick you again because of family obligations? lmao.

That he won't ever win you more than nine games in a single season. Put it your sig. In three years, when he's lost to State twice and he's standing next to Houston Nutt in the unemployment line, we'll be laughing.

in the meantime, we are shitting the bed.  error, a trillion hbp, and impatient at-bats.  losing 7-3 now in bottom of 9th.  losing that one in extras really really hurt.  gonna be a long week for the boys.
