Yeah Columbia got hit hard with that snow.

We got hit once a little over a week ago. It was Snowmaggedon.
Well I guess you'd consider it bad if you are used to the south.

Looking at the schedule, I think we can make some noise. We get Arky and LSU at home and avoid SC and UK. We do travel to OM, State, and Vandy though.

One of our lone bright spots is out for a month.
Richie Martin, our freshman SS with a 10 game hitting streak broke his finger in the last game.

Ugh.

A little troubling news from Gamecock camp tonight:  Friday night starter Jordan Montgomery will be out at least 2 weeks with a "stress reaction" in his throwing arm.   This is not as big of a deal as a stress fracture but still disconcerting.   The hope is to have him back for the Arkansas series, but Holbrook didn't sound too optimistic about that according to one of our writers.

Apparently it doesn't hurt him while he pitches, but it's "very painful" during rehab.  He's pitched the last 2 weeks with it though.

No word on who will take his spot in the weekend rotation, but Wynkoop has looked good so he has to be the favorite to pitch Sunday.

State has some good pitching and depth... Starting pitchers will be our problem I think. We have some good starters, but they havent been lasting long. It could very well be the weather, but we will take a couple shots in early SEC play. It will all work out by April though.

Yes, but Mizzou made history by notching their first SEC baseball win.
Bask in this historic moment while you can. You've officially shaken off the shackles of the Texas Big 12
