Goodwin is a tool. He went to play for the most pay

Archie Goodwin did not win today. Archie Goodwin had a choice. He was given the opportunity to go play basketball at the winningest program of all time, and defending national champion. It is kind of like Shaun Alexander, the great football player from Kentucky who chose to go play at Alabama, arguably the best football program ever. Sure everyone in KY would have loved to have him go to UK, but everyone understood him going to Alabama. It is amazing to me that some, some, Arkansas people don't get that...No Goodwin did not stay home. He did what was best for him. He wanted to play for the best program in the country. Hats off to Arkansas for winning today.

No one will remember or care about him.Bad choice by him.

Exactly. Once he leaves UK he better hope he makes it big in the NBA. He will never be welcomed back home

Big difference. UK has always sucked at football. We have a NC in basketball and tons of tradition

I hate typing from my phone but razor said it all. Shaun Ale Andre choosing bama football over UK basketball and Archie choosing.g to leave state is absurd. We have tradition in hoops UK has shit I. Football.

It's a shame he fell into the trap with little talent to be "that" guy.We won't hear from him again once cal kicks him to the curb.

You guys haven't done shit for 20 years, meaning, his entire lifetime. He doesn't give a damn what you did in 94. We are ALWAYS relevant. Arkansas is not.

PT you are right on. You are right. The only reason Archie Goodwin knows about the 96 and 98 national champions and the 97 runner up is because he sees it everyday and has gotten to know some of the members of those teams. Arkansas basketball was non-existent before Coach Sutton got there, came to national prominence through him and some great Coach Richardson teams winning a national championship in 94. Nothing since. If a Duke, or Kansas, or North Carolina, or Syracuse or UConn fan wants to talk to me about significant ok, but only Florida in the SEC besides UK is relevant or significant to this era of kid. Good luck to UA on getting back to that level. It would be great for the SEC and great for UK if they could ever get significant again. For now, a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in a while is the proper adage.

What an uninformed bunch of shit. You didn't even get the years right.

Goodwin got from the fans what he should have expected. Then the moron makes a statement after the game that will forever alienate him around here. I'm one guy from Little Rock that doesn't love him. I don't hate him either, but as sorry as I felt for Merlans Noel I couldn't give one Original Image: http://www.sectalk.c.../lanekiffin.gif about Goodwin if the same thing happened

Nolan Richardson has a NC. Something he could of gotten at any SEC school. Once Arky has another championship with another coach then you can talk about tradition. Hell even a final four post Richardson is a start.

You know the season is going poorly when UK fans talk about how they are better at everything basketball related except for the actual scores.

One title this millennium Kentucky?
Weak.

Not a good choice of words.Just sayin.

Archie's your player, not ours.We owe him no respect. That's just the way it works in sports. No hate involved on my part,I'm just glad he didn't get to go all american on us like I'm sure he and his family wanted him to do on our home court.I feel you folks would feel the same. B)
Our expectations are too high for all these freshmans. He's just not a one and done like the majority of players that Cal recruits. As much as he wants to be, he needs another year or he'll be a bust in the pros.
