The Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that four Alabama football players have been arrested. All were 4- or 5-star players coming out of high school.
Tyler Hayes (second degree robbery), Dennis Pettway (second degree robbery), Eddie Williams (second degree robbery and fraudulent use of a credit card), and Brent Calloway (fraudulent use of a credit card) have all been busted and their mugshots revealed.

Story is fake. They don't arrest UA players in Tuscaloosa.
I know........I'm just having an April Fools Day trial run.........Saban runs such a tight ship over there, there's no way it could happen.
Richt is the one whose program is outta control anyway...........

We've done a surprisingly good job at keeping our noses clean the last three or four years, with regards to off-the-field issues. This is unacceptable though. If the story is true, I bet all four lose their spot on the team.

You gotta be shitting me. Well, dang. Enjoy your victory rivals.
Also congrats to the incoming class who will be asked to play early and often, and congrats to the Alabama, Arkansas, and Jacksonville States who will rush to pick these guys up.

I mean, honestly, at what point does it seem like a good idea to attempt to rob someone?

If Saban wants them gone, this is an easy way.
If Saban wants them to stay... who here says he can't make it happen?

It is a Class C felony for stealing a credit card - which appears to be what happened. Maybe they are not all guilty and some charges will be dropped, but I doubt any of them remain on the team for longer than 24 hours. They may can plea down somehow and the courts show mercy but this is not LSU.

Apparently Eddie Williams was arrested for possession of a handgun without a permit also. I know kids will be kids and mess up sometimes, but this is just stupid.
