Jeremy Liggins won his appeal and is eligible immediately. He was a qb in high school, but he is 6'5 295 and almost every school that recruited him planned to move him to the defensive side of the ball. I am guessing his position will depend on what we need the most, I could see him as a TE or DL along with several other positions.

what appeal? What was the hang up?

"He had to get an appeal to an SEC rule that requires junior college players to be at their junior colleges for three or more semesters in order to enroll. The rule was set up to stop coaches from moving players from one junior college to an easier place simply to get them qualified. It wasn't designed to stop student-athletes who were dedicated enough to graduate in just one year's time. It became apparent that the SEC would likely ultimately grant Liggins' eligibility waiver, and they did that today."

Pretty sure nobody knows who he is.  Or at least I've never heard of him.

I still remember him announcing he is committing to LSU when he was in the damn square, that was boneheaded.

As much as I want to shun him, we might could actually use him situationally.

lol. (sigh) when dude did that I was really salty about it.

I'm not on the train with that guy, he'll have to lay some bone crushing hit on someone from State or LSU or Bama, maybe catch a game winning touchdown and tell everyone on national television he was wrong for punking the square.

Then we'll be okay.

State OL commit Sean Rawlings is visiting us on our big 1/24 recruiting weekend.
Several of my sources say they expect him to flip if the trip goes as well as we hope.

Hunter Thurley, a DE/TE hybrid, has dropped his full scholarship at Wofford and plans to attend Ole Miss as a walk on.

Hunter Thurley@HunterThurley 3h

I have decided to drop my full scholarship at Wofford and enroll at Ole Miss to accept a walk-on spot. For once I had to follow my heart.
