Arkansas fans were saying that we are butthurt about not having Anderson and that they will pass us up because they will be better than us soon because they are historically better.

Oh OK, I see what you mean.
I guess they like Anderson because he can recruit and he is linked to their glory days.

As an outsider who doesn't care at all, you guys do seem testy though.

We're testy because it kind of gets old with Arkansas fans that think that they are better than us because Anderson left to go there. Every single time it's, "y'all only did good last year because it was Anderson's players" and stuff like that.

Maybe you didn't realize it, but Arkansas is what you would call "full-spectrum elite".

It's just annoying because I actually don't mind Arkansas and like most of  their fans, hell over half my family are hogs... it's just the annoying few who like to get in your face like an obnoxious drunk and be like WOOOO MIKE ANDERSON!!! WE GOIN BACK TO GLOOOOORY YALLLLL....and think without the almighty Mike Anderson Mizzou is going to be a dumpster fire, that annoy me... If they get good that's awesome I'll be excited for them and it's annoying because I can say that to some of their faces and they're all like oh my god... why so butt hurt!

Maybe a little over dramatic, but you get the idea...

I don't dislike Mizzou. But just like you hate the Hogfans who talk shit about your program, I get pissed off at Mizzou fans who act like they sent CMA packin' because he wasn't getting the job done, and we're gonna regret getting rid of Failphrey and hiring CMA because he's a mediocre coach. Anderson left, we'll be better because of it, and you guys didn't have a lot of options as far as hiring a coach when he left. I can understand the animosity towards Anderson. But he left your program better than he found it. So shitting on the Hogs and their fans seems unreasonable to me.

Most fans are also retards no matter the fan base, I think we both made out like bandits out of the deal. Most Mizzou fans in the know are really happy with who got to replace him.  I didn't really care if MA stayed or left. I knew he had history with the hogs and history is hard to ignore.

Well said.

A lot of Missouri fans also have an elitist attitude about what I've yet to figure out, but they do.  I've met a ton of em' and like none of them.

Given recent history, Mizzou is a much better program than Arkansas. I think if you were to rank teams on recent history:

Kentucky
Florida
Mizzou
Tennessee
Vanderbilt

The rest

Before I get called out on the Tennessee thing, they did make an elite 8 under Pearl. And those were some good teams he had.

He definitely left our team in a better position than when he found it. He definitely turned it around and I am thankful for that. We definitely didn't send CMA packing but I think that this is better for both programs.
