Considering Stoops only had 2 months to get this thing together and got guys to flip from Nebraska, Southern Cal and beat out Florida and Ohio State for other guys, I'd say we're finally on track.  Really excited to see what we can do with a full year under this staff.  They were relentless this class...things are only going to get better.

Yea he was hired 2 months ago ppl. He did more in that time period than Joker did in 3 years recruiting wise. Can't wait to see what kinda class he'll have now that he has a full year to recruit.

I have to admit Stoops impressed the heck out of me....to take a class in the 50-60's that Joker had, to getting it to the 28th best in the nation still with two 4*'s to decide yet (one if them a possible LSU flip), the class could be the low 20's to the high teens. I think that's phenominal no matter what school in the SEC.

To give you and idea of how 28th best compares: 5th best in ACC, 4th best in Big 12, 5th best in Pac12, 4th best in Big 10 and no.1 in the Big Least. We are now closing the gap talent wise if this continues every year.

That's the first step. Get the talent and the rest will fall in place. Stoops has shown he is capable for sure.

In the SEC, probably Auburn.

As far as the SEC I'm pretty sure we had one of the worst days, we missed two guys we needed and had to offer a not rated in state recruit last minute to fill the spot, but we managed to get the best Juco Safety which was a spot of need... all in all I am not disappointed, it's generally our trend to do really good one season then mediocre at best the next... then really good... then not so good... so on and so forth.  We've made a living with diamonds in the rough in the Big 12, but I'm not sure how that'll transfer long term in the SEC.

You'd have to say Missouri.  An established coach and a year removed from signing the nations top prospect and decent class.   Did they forget to use the "Hey we're in the SEC now." recruiting pitch?

Not sure, but it's Pinkel's head on the chopping block this season, he better hope he did enough... Word is on our pay boards anyways that anything less than 7-5 and we will hand the keys to someone else.

Yea losing Zeke Elliot and the likes hurt your class.   I'd venture to say that Pinkel is gone...  Insert Kirby Smart and the SEC as a whole is a recruiting juggernaut.. Yea I just called Kirby Smart to Mizzou before Pinkel is fired. lol

easier road to Atlanta in Eastern division. waited too long to land anything else. Richt not going anywhere for a while.   No other "elite" programs OOC will be looking for a HC in the next couple of years besides maybe Texas.
