Also, to comment on what 28 already said, awareness is great. He knows when to hold em and when to fold em, which is, more than "I'mgonnaholdtheballfor30seconds" Russell. lol
If Ole Miss wins this season's Egg Bowl, I will change my username to FreezeownsMullen for the duration of one complete year. And I will also add a picture of the Ole Most players celebrating in DWS.

When State wins, Rebelfan4life must rename himself MSUownsOM for the duration of one complete year.

Watched Williams film. He should be a four star. The size is holding him back. Good touch passes, bruiser runner. Like him. More than servicable in Mullen's system (prays we get back to that system--bye bye Koening) if need be.
He was committed to USM as an ATH..... not even Tulane,UL-LAF, UL-Monroe (All of which he camped at)  offered him as a QB.    While he may very well be a Relf 2.0 in due time.  nothing... film. offers. nothing.. could/would suggest he is a 4 star QB.    Stop sugar coating it and pray that Cord Sanberg doesn't go pro in Baseball.

He was committed to USM as a QB.  Really?  None of those places offered him as a QB?  You'd better tell that to Nebraska and Kansas St...

Relf 2.0?  You don't have a clue.

as an athlete?? to play what?? LB?...he less valuable as an ATH than he is a QB...maybe yall just don't want him to be relf 2.0 since yall couldnt beat relf 1.0...

First of all, lets adress one glaring issue here: Did you read the top of this thread. It's in the Mississippi State forum. Are you a Mississippi State fan? No? See ya.

I think as an option C he's a good pickup.  As long as he's an athlete he can be taught the game.

I disagree on the arm strength though, I've seen cord play a few games (on tv)

He has an absolute cannon.

Looking more and more likely that we will be getting Toby Johnson in this class...

Also "possible" that we go after Tevin Lawson according to a new poster on SPS, which absolutely makes sense for us...  He's a 4* on Rivals and ESPN and 88 3* on 24/7.

Need to have at least one HS DT in this class IMO.  It's essentially like skipping 2 classes altogether since Quay/James didn't redshirt... 3 classes if the next group does redshirt...

All Rebels, please remember that this is a team forum and trolling isn't allowed here. I'll enforce the same rules in your team forum if you just bring them to my (or any other moderator's) attention.

With that said, I'll start banning people from this thread that choose to ignore this rule.

Do your worst.

To stay on topic, I just want to say congrats on Donald Gray, Jr. from Memphis. I always like seeing kids from this area not go to University of Memphis and waste their talent.

Holy shit, could this be any harder to read?

@Benny is a douche. And yes, I fully expect the mention to highlight Benny's name but IDGAF.

Pretty good. We got our first real steal in Ross. We got our first five star out of high school since Norwood.

Solid but not spectacular.  Can become very good if we can hit on one or two late targets.  Had a chance to be really special, but we missed on a couple of key national players down the stretch.  Doesn't help that our two best suspected recruiters have been on the job for 5 weeks and 5 months respectively.

The talent level in HS in MS was down this past year overall, but is suspected to be much higher in 2014 and 2015 -- which will always be where we earn our stripes.  Got to do a bit better of recruiting the JUCO system in our own back yard as well...

Everything I read says y'all will land Johnson. I think our coaches want him to come in and redshirt a year and yours want him to play. From what I can tell he is more interested in playing immediately.
Did y'all see what he said to the coaches at Oh st, Miami, So cal, and he mentioned a couple others. He told them that they were scared of his injury last year so don't start recruiting me now. Don't even bother calling. I'm not a backup plan.
I thought that was pretty funny.

I'll take it! Lol

He's worth the scolly.  Always take a chance on what could be an elite DL.
