plz list 5 ways that MS has imitated apple.

Where shall I start? Zune? Windows phone? Windows 8? Let's not forget their next brilliant "let's copy Apple" idea either... Surface! Oh wait, that's right... they're not copying them because they've added a sweet little gimmick, a detachable keyboard!

And yet, somehow Apple manages to trump them on everything. How did Zune work out? Windows phone? You see that overtaking the iPhone anytime soon? The Surface is surely doomed to the same fate. Doesn't help that everybody from Apple to Amazon already took their tablets to market, either. Like I said, typical Microsoft... late to the party.

Face it. Microsoft lives off of trying to find ways to make their own versions of stuff that everyone else has already done. They always have. "Cutting edge," "Ingenuous" and "fresh" are not clubs in Microsoft's bag. However they reach for the "cheap," "unreliable" and "buggy" clubs quite often.

Being a Microsoft loyalist is so passé. I bet y'all still wear baggy cargo pants, too.

What is the #1 selling phone on the market? (Hint: it's not Windows phone)

What's the #1 selling tablet on the market? (Hint: it's not made by MS)

I'm not arguing PC versus Macs.

I'm not sure it's accurate to call Windows "#1 selling OS" because consumers do not have a choice of OS when purchasing a PC at retail. Every PC made for retail sale starts life saddled with Windows. That's kind of like asking "What's the #1 skin color of children born in Africa."  Agreements struck between MS and manufacturers don't constitute a superior product. Delta was one of the only airlines able to operate out of Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson airport for many years... not because they were the best airline, but because they swung deals with the city council to make sure nobody else was allowed in.

Besides, the discussion wasn't "who mass produces more shit," it was about Microsoft producing an inferior product to everyone else, which they unquestionably do.

Windows 7 is not an inferior product to Apple's various OS. Windows is more widely used because it is a better OS for running businesses and you don't have to pay an arm and a leg for an empty fashion statement.

It was a better OS 20 years ago. Now the only reason businesses still run it is because they always have and upgrading an entire infrastructure is costly and time consuming. It's like fleet vehicles, they're going to go with the cheapest option.

Besides, as I noted before, I'm not here to argue about OS's. The discussion was centered around gaming consoles and my assertion that Microsoft was always behind in technology which is why nothing would change with the next generation. I think the fact that the only product you can point to outside of the 360 in which they remain relevant in is the Windows OS proves my point. Windows is the leader because it was first (or rather because Gates had the foresight to steal the concept from Apple). That's the last time MS was first in anything. In every other venture, they remain behind the curve. And not for lack of trying. They lack vision or creativity of any kind. Hell even Windows was a rip-off. You're talking about a company that has made it's living by copying others' ideas, and you really want to waste your breath defending them as an innovator?

Not defending them as an innovator, but Microsoft kicks Apple's ass when it comes to operating systems - hence why they've always dominated that market. Just like Apple dominates the mp3 and phone markets.
