heres a fun tidbit:

When Nintendo's, Sony's, and Microsoft's products were still 'new', only Nintendo was making money off of console sales. Sony and Microsoft actually lost money with every 360 and PS3 console that was sold; they required game and peripheral sales to turn a profit. Nintendo chose an innovative market-placement strategy that kept them in business and allowed them to move into a profitable niche while marginalizing their power and capability deficiencies. It will be interesting to see if they decide to compete head-to-head this time around.

I want a Blu-ray on every console. Better graphics and more power go without saying.

I also want the fleshlight add-on.

I doubt you get blu-ray on a nintendo console. And I also doubt they move away from the core demo-graphic of Japan and non-hardcore american gamers.

My roomie from a couple years ago had a PS3.  That thing was the tits.

I mentioned that I haven't had my own console since the original XBox came out and that I hit up my buddy's Black Ops on his PS3 every time i go over there.

My wife got me a Wii for xmas.

Get a PS3, then you'll have Blu-ray. Sony will have a feature on the Ps4 that Microsoft will not have on the Xbox720, too. Microsoft is always behind.

There's nothing about the Ps3 I would change. Obviously the graphics capability will be increased on the Ps4, and I'm sure cloud storage is coming.

Watch Sony give a big finger to Microsoft and incorporate Google into their next console though.

Haven't touched a console in a long ass time. But once I get my 80" Sharp in a few weeks, that will change. Also, I think @Scream will leave his wife and move in with me.

At this point, I think the best thing Nintendo could do is re-release the original NES and all of it's games again.
(I do miss duck hunt, not going to lie.)

Microsoft has already taken almost 50% sales away from Sony. I think they are just fine

No new content format will come out this console cycle. It will be a contest of power and how much each brand can improve there online content base. More like the xbox vs ps2 battle. If Microsoft incorporates blu-ray then expect them to greatly outsell Sony's new system. The Xbox is gaining momentum in Japan allowing it to gain ground on Sony. They already outsell them handily in the States but as they sell more in more in Japan they will out-distance themselves with sights on Nintendo.

As far as search wise Sony is behind in terms of a search engine on a console, Microsoft has already introduced Bing and integrated it through the Xbox live system and it works great. Also Microsoft already has Cloud storage so again Sony is behind.

As far as Sony being ahead of Microsoft in terms of formatting. Both sides chose what they thought was the best. Sony went Blu-ray, Microsoft went Hd-Dvd. Sony made the right choice as it was picked up by Disney and all bets were off. But we just as easily be here talking about how Blu-ray never was.

By them through the Online Nintendo store through the Wii. Or get a Nintendo DS as they have a ton of the originals. As well as some good Nintendo 64 ports.

Lol, If that was true Microsoft wouldn't have already outsold the PS3 without the help of the majority of Japan. Bing is actually a great source if you know how to use it. I book all my travel through their because it gives you price indicators on if it is a good time to buy. IT can predict if ticket prices are expected to go down or go up.

I meant whatever the most recent version of Windows is. Helped my folks pick out a laptop for my little brother for christmas. Everything is pre-loaded with it.. Absolute garbage. A hot gimmicky mess.
