Instant boot-up, cloud-based PS3 games (@Hothotz won't like that) (no backwards compatibility for physical copies), downloads can take place in the background while system is off or user is playing another game... all good stuff.
Most of the news seemed to be from developers though. A new Killzone, inFamous and racing game are all in the works.

Watch Dogs has been known about since last E3. It's probably the game I'm looking forward to the most, assuming they weren't spewing bullshit about how many choices there will be for the player. And Destiny has been known about for a while too, but I dislike the text alert feature of the game. But the game itself looks good.
I'm always behind on that stuff. The demos they rolled out tonight looked pretty, though.

I haven't been watching because I don't care about all the hype, but it seems lame that they're hyping up demos for games that they've already announced a while back. It'd have been better to announce all new content. But, in your case (and I'm sure millions of other people), announcing Watch Dogs/Destiny/other games is proving to be beneficial for those who haven't already heard.
That said, I would imagine they have new content to demo that they haven't already released, and if that's the case, then my comments are more irrelevant than usual.

Oh no, it was kind of lame for sure. For one, they didn't reveal the box. Two, they didn't give a price. So we know what the CONTROLLER looks like, and we know they have developer support, but we have no idea what the unit looks like or how much it's going to cost. So..... idk what the real purpose of the press conference was.

So @HobnailedBoots pretty much relayed everything. I for one am excited about the streaming you games over the cloud. It wont hurt as much as you think because as more and more DLC content is put out the more I sell a ton of point cards. So it all balances out. I don't make my money on that stuff anyways. Used games is where the profit is.

I know they want to push the social gaming crap, but the cloud streaming was the best part to me. If it's as streamlined as they say it will be, it'll be the cats meow.

Destiny seems pretty cool. I'll give it a whirl if it comes out on PC, was never very impressed with Halo though.
