The next xbox will for sure have blu-ray ability ,but personally I want to see developers being held to a higher standard of software testing before releasing shoddy programmed games and then patching them for weeks after we've bought and finally getting them to a playable state. Also I hate that developers are allowed on disc dlc. Drives me nuts!

It would be cool if we could transfer games on memory sticks and keep all our games on a hard drive. I do not like to play mine off of the optical drives anyway. I do like the blue ray clarity and durability. I would have to say that the next frontier for me is in sound. These headsets with 6 way speakers are awesome, but expensive. I would like t see mid grade headphnes included with a system r a better way t attach r use them. LCD tuch screen tech n a cntrller is prbably nt necessary and will drive up csts. (Damn I just lost the "o" button on my keyboard. Now it is back weird.)
That is one thing you can expect to be much more abundent in the next systems. Cloud storage. Already available on the Xbox 360 but only 512mb of storage look for the ability to buy as much as you want with some being free right out of the box.

Not necessarily. It was marketed for the Japanese which ended up hitting a different type of group in the U.S. they didn't dream of. Older people who like the simplistic nature of the console. Not only did the console sell to young children getting their first system but also older seniors who their kids though would enjoy the bowling or tennis aspect of the games. It's a great way to get seniors moving and many many nursing homes had them installed. Also all the main gamers bought the system for the franchise staples.
Wii = Children's toy
If you disagree, you are wrong.

Absolutely. DLC on discs are a horrible thing. It is a insult to anyone who buys the game to not have everything available to play. But only look for that to expand as discs begin to hold more and more content.

It will not be givin to you because it's a cost that can be passed on to the consumer. I recomend you use one of these options. I love them and its super easy to type on. Just like texting.

that, I'm old. I like my wireless keyboard. All I'm saying is that Sony should ship a full-sized one with their PS4.

You should be able to play just about any kind of video file you want.
Internet browser support.
The console shouldn't die every 6 months.
Shit like that, but this is mainly aimed towards Microsoft

What I don't get is that Nintendo didn't aim at a specific demographic with their first 3 systems. The Gamecube is where it all started going downhill to be honest, but the franchise titles (SSBM, Sunshine, LoZ:WW/TP, etc.) on that thing are good enough to offset it's flaws.

I don't believe they're ruling it out. They could do it for an extra $20 or less with their cheap ass production prices. It's abysmal trying to type out letters and shit with the controller. I use the K800 with my PS3.

Nintendo has always aimed at a Japanese market for there consoles. That's is what they want fo-fo games about dogs and anime chicks.

Doesn't matter. When a console debuts the only thing that matters is price point. They are not going to put anything extra in that box to raise the price, when they are already loosing money on the system. Accessories is where companies make there money. They are not going to give you extra what they need to sell to be profitable.
