We kind of hijacked a different thread so I pose a question to all the gamers. What would you like to see in the new consoles.
I for one would like for the new Xbox to incorporate Blu-Ray. If they do that it will all but guarantee Microsoft running away with console sells.

I'd like to see a fleshlight incorporated into the controller. Whichever company makes that happen has got my vote!

I would like Nintendo to reach out to third party developers a lot more. It kills me to see the state of Nintendo these days. The wii is shitty outside its couple of console staples (legend of Zelda, Mario, smash bros, etc) and the same was true about the GameCube.

Obviously better graphics that can hang with PC for a few years. Maybe even an upgradeable GPU? The next gen consoles must also come with a wireless keyboard.

All I want is Nintendo to stop sucking massive ass. They need to leave the tech gimmicks to Apple and get back to basics. For me, Nintendo sort of died with the Wii. Instead of having a reliable system with a good library of games from both Nintendo franchises and 3rd party support, they gave us a gimmicky system with no good games other than some good Nintendo franchise games, and even if games were ported to the Wii, they were vastly inferior to their 360 or PS3 counterparts (see: Black Ops) not only as far as gameplay was concerned (Nintendo had it right with the Nintendo Zapper in 85) but the online play sucked massive butthole as well. The internal Wi-Fi on the Wii blows, and there's no support for mics on the Wii's online service as far as I can tell. This is my opinion.

True enough, but they hit their target audience perfectly and profited greatly from it. Nintendo knows their market and I don't expect them to change the direction they are going in. They clean up on being the safe pick for mom and dad and Japan will always support them regardless of content.

Don't expect any console to come with a keyboard but you can use a wireless keyboard with the systems that are currently out now.

Expect the next Nintendo system to be more user friendly when it comes to their online market place but do not look for them to change direction. They have done extremely well this past console war only managing to
it up with the Wii-U.

It would be cool if we could transfer games on memory sticks and keep all our games on a hard drive. I do not like to play mine off of the optical drives anyway. I do like the blue ray clarity and durability. I would have to say that the next frontier for me is in sound. These headsets with 6 way speakers are awesome, but expensive. I would like t see mid grade headphnes included with a system r a better way t attach r use them. LCD tuch screen tech n a cntrller is prbably nt necessary and will drive up csts. (Damn I just lost the "o" button on my keyboard. Now it is back weird.)

Why? They're cheap.
And yeah, I use one. But Microsoft/Sony must realize that typing without one is shit. It needs to come packaged with the console so that we don't use up one of our USB slots with them.
Also, .mkv support.

Not necessarily. It was marketed for the Japanese which ended up hitting a different type of group in the U.S. they didn't dream of. Older people who like the simplistic nature of the console. Not only did the console sell to young children getting their first system but also older seniors who their kids though would enjoy the bowling or tennis aspect of the games. It's a great way to get seniors moving and many many nursing homes had them installed. Also all the main gamers bought the system for the franchise staples.

It will not be givin to you because it's a cost that can be passed on to the consumer. I recomend you use one of these options. I love them and its super easy to type on. Just like texting.
