Thought you might enjoy seeing your first car ad. Find your first car or the one you drove to high school or college; hopefully your car brochure is available. This has to be one of the neatest web sites whether you have gasoline in your veins or not. This is a website featuring the original factory brochures for nearly every American car you have ever owned.

Mine was a 1974 blue Chevrolet Nova Hatchback that I bought in 1978. It had around 22,000 miles on it when I bought it and I kept it for close to 10 years. That car had some get up and go. It was a great first car.

I will say this....they hold up well in head on collisions going 50 or so. Seat belts worked great.
Let me get this straight. We're going to be "gifted" with a health care plan we are forced to purchase and will be fined for if we don't, written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that hasn't read it but exempts itself from it, signed by a president who smokes, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese and financed by a country that's broke.
What could possibly go wrong?

1994 Dodge Dakota, extended cab FTW.
I loved that thing. This thread makes me want to track one down and buy another.

It was an awesome truck. 395,000 miles on it when I bought it (550,000 when I got rid of it), the air conditioner never did work, at one time the engine caught on fire.
Had it for two years before I got rid of it.

I'd say it was a great first car...but it wasn't. I guess it was a good car to have as a first car, because...like many others, I wrecked my first car.
Since it wasn't anything great, and it was my fault- then I wasn't out a huge amount of money.
Haven't had a wreck since...that was 14 years ago (*knock on wood*)
