James Franklin tells crowd he plans to out-work 'Nicky Satan'
Vanderbilt head coach James Franklin has made some waves since arriving in Nashville and leading the Commodores to bowl games in his first two seasons. Franklin made even more waves on Tuesday night when made a remark about Alabama head coach Nick Saban during the Fall Sports Banquet at Central High School in Macon, Georgia.
"There's this guy at Alabama, I think his name is Nicky Satan, you guys might have heard of him before. I'm going to out-work him and that's kind of our plan every single day."
Franklin, known for his aggressive recruiting ability, currently has the nation's No. 32 ranked recruiting class according to 247Sports, which ranks 10th in the SEC. Vanderbilt finished ranked in the top 25 for the first time since 1948 last season.

This is such a non story.
Even bama fans think Saban is unpleasant like Satan...but he wins championships so his smug attitude is tolerated.
It was a joke that no one laughed at.
