Can't wait to see Tavares play this season.  Kid could be something special.

You think he'll be on the roster opening day or get like a may/june call up?

I'm a Yankees homer and hoping Gary Sanchez, #36, gets up to speed and takes over the Catcher duties soon.

I'm surprised Billy Hamilton wasn't in the top ten... I'd do anything for him to be a Brave. He's got the ability to set records as soon as he hits the majors.
I kept failing a math test at the University of Alabama because every time I added 5+3 I got 8 and they kept insisting that the right answer was 14.

Still don't think billy hamilton is ready for big league pitching though. He needs to make the switch to CF first

Yeah, you can't steal bases if you can't even get on base.

I'd love to see him on the Opening Day roster but I'm thinking he'll be one of the summer call ups.  The OF is pretty set with Holliday, Jay, and Beltran.  Now if there's any sort of injury between Opening Day and then they won't hesitate to make that call iMHO.

Of course, if he shows out in the Spring he may get a nod as a back up at first.  I'd wouldn't mind seeing Holliday/Beltran play a little less. Save some wear and tear on them.

i think Jay could be a baller.  Kid has some great tools.  Surely they're not re-signing Beltran after the season with the new draft pick compensation, right?  Also, why are they letting Freese go this far into arbitration.

Freese is asking a lot more that what they were offering.  Freese was asking for 3.75M and the Cards were offering 2.4M. He's had some off the field issues in the past.  He's a home town kid and had the WS heroics a couple of years ago but I don't know that it merits that kind of raise.

I doubt Beltran gets resigned after 2013.  I think I've read that he wants to stay in STL but I don't really see where there's room.  Tavares is knocking on the door and Jay is cost controlled for a little bit still not to mention fairly young.  IMHO Jay is a star in the making, just hope he stays on course.

100% correct... Im heading down to Jupiter on SB for Spring Training and I cant wait to see what he looks like in person...

As far as the Beltran/Holliday less play... I would agree, but I think if anyone should ride the bench more it should be Beltran. He would sit out a game here and there last year with his knee... Wouldnt mind that happening again.

Agree completely on Beltran.  The thing with Holliday is he rarely takes a day off and it seems the past two post seasons he's had a nagging injury.  I just wonder with an off day every now and then what he'd be capable of come playoffs time.

SEC well represented. Especially with Zunino in the top 25 and JBJ in the top 35.

Thats just Holliday... He pretty much has to be forced to take a day off. Like he said hes making 17 mil a year playing baseball might as well go out and earn it.

Oh no, I get it. He's my favorite player, I'd like to see him out there everyday. That said he's working himself crazy. Just would like to see him healthy in October when it really counts.

No doubt about that. He is essential to our offense and has a great glove in left.
