I guess the steps the NCAA has already taken to pussify college football hasn't been enough... good god I swear our president wasn't only the first black president, but also the first female one as well... First Guns, next Tackling... All the while... we have pro boxing and MMA fighting happening every day in the United States, but no College Football is too violent...

I don't agree with the prez here. I loathe the flag football Goodell is trying to enforce; don't want it in college either.
It should be a freedom of choice thing. However, if you play, you knew the inherent risks and rewards going into it. Stop with the lawsuits when you get older

See, this is why I hate this asshole. We have real problems affecting the entire country that are his responsibility. This isn't even his problem. He needs to worry about his policies that cripple job growth and the fact that we go deeper and deeper into debt every day.
Oh, and I liked his little pro union spin on the NFL.

I like the game the way it is too, but seeing a player go down to a knee injury or a concussion is bone chilling. It is a very violent sport and The President is right; we should be more concerned about the players health.

God damn it. Now he wants to ruin sports too. He could have started with the shitty sports like Lacrosse and Soccer first.

I dont agree with this. This isn't his responsibility to manage.
But there's more and more evidence of CTE in football and nobody can deny that. The lawsuits against the NFL isn't because they get these injuries, it's because at first the NFL refused to even admit that these injuries were caused by football and wouldn't help their retired players dealing with this.

Obama is now a lame duck........the only ones really taking him seriously are fellow progressives and socialists and the media.
Boehner and Republicans are through with trying to compromise with this clown. He made the big mistake in creating the budget sequesters in 2011, thinking conservatives and Republicans would never let them stay in place.
He calculated...........terribly wrong. Without entitlement reform, Boehner and Republicans are willing to let the sequester cuts go forward and will credit Obama for proposing them in the first place..........after getting 99% of the Bush tax cuts being made permanent.
