If you compare Noel's state line to Hendersons there's not one poster here who would take Henderson over Noel. Like i said, ppg don't mean shit compared to another player averaging a double double, 4 blks pg, and 2.5 steals pg.

You guys think Henderson is much better than he is. Without Holloway and Buckner he wouldn't be half as good as he looks. The backbone to Ole Miss is their frontcourt and their rebounding dominance.
PPG-#22 Marshall Henderson-Ole Miss!

Let me put it this way. Would you rather him score 20ppg or 12ppg with 8rpg?

20 ppg.  We already have Buck and Murph to board.  Thats all we need.  We don't need boards out of Henderson.

Then your insane. 8rpg would talley up to a lot more than 20ppg. 2nd chance pts is where its at and dominating the boards with a guard averagin 8rpg would make Ole this best team in the league without question.

I didn't know you were talking about offensive boards.

I wasn't really, just a fraction of those would be i guess. Regardless, a balanced stat line is far more important than someone who shoots like crazy and averages 20ppg. I've watched a few Ole Miss games and half of his shots don't seem to be the ideal shot any coach would want to see. If he would take more of the open looks that he gets he'd probably average a slightly lower amount of points with a higher fg%. Averaging 20ppg on 35% shooting isn't helping the team as much as it might look like.

We're #1 in the SEC right now; that's much more important than some mascot whose sole job is to amuse kids.

And yes, Guard play, along with Murph and Buck cleaning up has been key to how we've done so far.
Marshall is the icing on the cake and emotional leader on the court.

There is no way that Kentucky is the most talented team in the Country. I understand being a fan of your team, but I would never say that Florida is the best team in the country. I might make an argument for the best defensive team but I wouldn't make such a bold statement when I know it isn't true.

Florida Hasn't won any big games? They destroyed Marquette and Wisconsin, were beating Arizona until a late game collapse (In Arizona I might add), and it's not like Arizona is a pushover team, and Kansas state isnt either. Every single game they have won have all been absolute beat downs on the other teams. And Florida did shut down the guy who hung 40 on the wildcats, do you remember that? And they shut down arguably the best point guard in the NCAA.

Ole miss...is ole miss I'll give you that.

Like I said before, Mizzou has probably the best pure point guards in the nation and when Bowers gets back they will probably be a better team come tourney time.

Face it, this isn't last year. The Kentuck One-and-Doners got lucky last year because of Anthony Davis, and he isn't walking into Rupp any time soon. No one stands out on that team like Davis and Kidd-Gilchrest did last season. Maybe next years starting 5 will be the "Most talented team in the nation."

Stick to football Gator fan, you are clueless.

We ARE the most talented team in the country and will have the most 1st rounders/lottery picks in next years draft.  Thus, we are the most talented team in the country.  Only every ESPN announcer says it EVERY telecast.  Forgive me if I believe them over you.  Lol

We got lucky last year?  Lolololololololol...we run ish.

And next year is forgone conclusion.  The only question is the number losses we take.

This year?  I have been disappointed with our team so far this year but we will win the SEC tourney and I can guarantee you Florida will not want to see the Cats anywhere near their bracket come selection Sunday.  Just ask OSU/UNC 2011.

They see us rollin'..........they hatin'!

As a current Ole Miss student, I can say that we love winning and leading the conference, much more than a mascot. It is true that he is preferred over that joke of a mascot, but apathy has taken over on that issue as success has mounted for both football and basketball. ( Baseball has been consistent with it's success)

The mascot issue is one to discuss in the off-season when nothing is going on.
