Baseball America is a bit different than other polls. They do not focus on recruiting to evaluate teams.

Baseball America is usually pretty good for the most part.

I tend to trust PG and BA for my article reading.

BA has a more practicle approach using returning players and pitching numbers and sprinkles in a bit of recruiting. PG says he focuses on recruiting and returning players evenly in a formula and finds some sort of average.

I like Kendall... Hes the only guy that focuses on college ball when the time comes. His top 25 is lacking to me though...

For instance... He leaves USM out of top 25 because they didnt have a "great" recruiting season.

He had USM at 28 which is fair.  He stated earlier in the year that USM didnt need a great recruiting season due to having the number 3 class the year before.  Kendall basically just judges teams the way you and I do, except he watches 1000x the games.

I think Kendall is awesome... I just think BA has teams where they should be... Yeah we are a bit too high, but other than us and a couple others.. I think its spot on.
