Florida got the wake-up call it needed in the second half, blitzing Georgia over the final 20 minutes en route to a 64-47 win at Stegemam Coliseum Wednesday night. With the victory the Gators swept the season series with the Bulldogs for the second time in three years.
Trailing by three at the break, Florida (15-2, 5-0) opened the second half on a 24-4 run over the first 11 minutes of the second half to seize control of the game and never look back. Florida outscored Georgia (7-11, 1-4) 40-20 over the game's final 20 minutes.
