Bush had nothing to do with 9/11.

Obama has nothing to do with these shootings.

Guns don't kill people.

I have the talent for that sort of thing but I haven't attained the skill yet, unfortunately its not a troll I legitimately think its POSSIBLE that there is a conspiracy here, the type of thought I have never before entertained. Moving on.

Don't disagree.  There could ALWAYS be a conspiracy, however, there is no way (IMO) that someone would t talk eventually.

Kid kills whole family, lets not blame the guns lets blame Obama.

Where else can we dance to?
How about let's blame the kid. The gun didn't pull its own trigger.

I don't understand why people don't get this. If it wasn't a gun I guarantee you he'd have found something else. The gun is just a tool. It's the psycho behind the gun that needs help.

Or even, let's not blame the family for having these guns locked away from their nutty kid

Locked away works great for 5 year olds, not so much for 15 year olds.  No safe that you can get for a home will be 100% secure from what is essentially an adult.  That's the reason that even though I have a good safe, I have a second layer of security over it, namely a motion detector for my security system.  Anybody that wants mine has to work fast....

I keep mine next to me when I sleep, anyone who wants it has to sneak into my room through 3 locked doors without waking me up...and I hear when shit moves OUTSIDE my house at night...

If a person kills the entirety of his immediate family, there is obviously something more to it. I wouldn't be surprised if his parent(s) were abusing him and possibly the other children.

Smokey, I think you voted for Obama because it was good for business. You can tell me otherwise, but I don't believe you.
Im a long term guy and while he is going gang busters short term, long term he could put me out of business. Dr on the other hand being a dope smoking liberal college kid that has not come out against a singlr Obama policy and has come out in support of a few and shown to  to be in line with others? I hope you could understand his lack of credibility on this. He is the white Obama demographic

When we are forseting or doing respit my stay locked in a safe locked in a downstairs closet that we dont go in or tell them whats in it( ammo, reloading supplies). If we are not doing foster or respit I leave them laying arounfd the house. I also have handguns behind false sections of wall in evey bedroom. If someone breaks in while we are here I can punch through the false wall and have a gun in seconds. When fostering or respit I leave one handgun with holster at work for work. When we adopt as soon as the link is dry they will begin learning to handle fire arms. 3 years old to 5 years old depending on the child is the right age o start.

As a parent, you are responsible for kids and what they have access to in your home. I don't care what it is, guns, booze, prescriptions, porn, etc., if you can't keep it out of the hands of your kids, it shouldn't be in your home

And again, a 15 year old is physically not a child.  That's like saying you should be able to secure things indefinitely from a 20 year old.  What difference does a couple years make between physically mature individuals?  Not a lot.

By the time you have teenager, you've got to depend on their own conscience and self control.  If that lapses there's not a whole lot you as a parent can do.

Course knowing your position on these things, I know what your underlying meaning to those statements is anyway....
