They lost on blowing a 17 point lead at home in the 2nd most important game in their history. Don't look at it like a kid who hasn't learned how to deal with losing in sports yet.
It's not like they drove down inside the ten yard line after blowing that lead. It's not like Roddy White was massively held on a pass that was a first down. It's not like that penalty would have given us a first and goal inside the five. You're right man, that call had nothing to do with the Falcons losing.
Nothing at all.
If you've never watched football before.
Obviously the Falcons could have done more to put the game out of reach but that literally could be said of any team in any game ever played. If Notre Dame could have shut down Alabama's running game, locked down Amari Cooper, pressured AJ McCarron, and actually generated a whole bunch of offense they could have beaten Alabama. That didn't happen.
But the Falcons did exactly what they had to do to win the game. They drove down and would have easily converted a first down had Roddy White not been massively held and interfered with. THe penalty would have resulted in a first down inside the five yard line. There's no guarantee that we would have scored but we should have had the
ing opportunity. I can't
ing stand losing because of a cum guzzling shit call.
I kept failing a math test at the University of Alabama because every time I added 5+3 I got 8 and they kept insisting that the right answer was 14.

Does it ever get hard to stop the cum from sticking to your teeth or is that just something you have to live with? The refs must appreciate it either way.

The tears of the Falcon faithful are delicious.
It's not so much tears as it is the imaginary blood the referee who wasn't even watching the
ing play. If I were you I wouldn't be proud of being given a game. I don't even brag about the 2010 iron bowl and we weren't even given that game by the refs, we just had to have an extremely lucky bounce.

Hahah ok dude. The refs gave us 28 points. They decided to let Frank Gore walk into the endzone on multiple occasions. Also, I'm not necessarily proud, as I didn't put any work into the game or practice or anything. However, it is cool to see my team go to the Super Bowl for the first time since 1994.

You're right because all of that is relevant to the blown call that prevented us from taking the lead with what would have probably been 20 seconds left. I don't blame you for being happy; you ought to be happy when your team goes to the Super Bowl. You shouldn't automatically discredit any Falcon fan mentioning a blatantly blown call as crying though because if it was reversed and happened to the 49ers you'd be furious, too.
I don't mind losing games I just
ing hate it when the refs play a part in it.

Are Falcon fans going to remember Matt Ryan throwing a pick and than on the next possession fumbling the snap away or are they going to just blame the refs because its convenient?
My thoughts on Alabama vs. Notre Dame

The only thing that matters is Atlanta's regular-season championship, which is something that nobody can ever take away from you.
Maybe next year we can pay players to injure opposing quarterbacks on purpose. I've heard that helps mediocre teams win more games so it would definitely be enough to put us over the top. The best part is that even if we got caught our players would be allowed to play! Genius strategy.

It's not convenient it's just exactly what happened. I
ing hate Matt Ran right now too but despite his butt
ery he still got us in a position to win the game and the refs denied us.
