It was that whopper about jeep being made in China. That bastard actually stood up there and said that the US bailed out company had sought and recieved Obamas (blessings be apun him) blessing to build 100,000 to 200,000 jeeps a year in China. That dirty dog even stood by it when the good folks at Chysler flat out called him on it. The nerve of that ftard to not apologize to Obama ( may we walk in the shadow of his bounty) and fall on his sword. I am so thankful that that lieing sack of sheet was smited by Obama ( may his divine glow enlighten this benighted land in our time of strife) because it one thing this country needs its the transpanacy in government that Obama ( may none question his magnificance) has paid a heavy price to give us unworthy sots.

So yes Jeeps are going to built in china now. Oh just so I can work guns in here too, freedom works is being bougt by Taurus a south american company.

Mitt said they were sending our jobs over to China. That the Chinese would now be making Jeeps instead of Americans. This was and is BULLSH*T. Jeep opened a plant in China for the Chinese to make Jeeps that will only be sold in China. No one here lost a job to a Chinese person because of Jeep. That's the story. So yes, Mitt was lying.

So instead of making more JEEPs here they are now going to be made in China. You dont see that as a net loss of US jobs? 1-200,000 American made products will now be made in China instead of here. How is this too difficult for you to grasp?

These are going to be Chinese jeeps for China. They won't be legal here and the Chinese wouldn't be buying them from us if they had to pay for more expensive American versions and then pay to import them. How do you not grasp this? It was, hey build a plant here in China that can make a product you couldn't drive anyways or we don't do business at all. They're not closing a plant here to open one there and then import the cars back here. If anything, this is putting more money in our pockets because if we tried it your way, they just wouldn't buy them from us.

It's just like the BMW's that are made here in South Carolina. No one here got a german person's job, but every Beamer sold here sends money their way.

It's the truth. There is no reaching. That plant in China isn't taking a single job away from an American. That's like saying opening a Starbucks in Japan is taking a job away from someone here that could make that coffee and then ship it over

1. The plant in Greer is the ONLY plant in the world that makes the X3, X5, X6 and soon to be X4.

3. BMWMCUSA has just invested another 900+ million into upgrading/expanding the paint and body shops to handle the increased demand and workload with the in-coming X4.

4. BMW Manufacturing Corp. USA is a subsidary of BMW, but the monies generated from the sales of the X3, X5, X6 and soon to be X4 are kept within BMW Manufacturing Corp. USA.

5. There was an 18 month backorder for the X3. Why? Because the X3 was originally produced in AUSTRIA until it was moved here to SC. Sales and production were suspended while the transistion was made and only now, have they reached maxmium production. (Approx. 265 cars per 10 hr. shift)


We stole jobs from the Austria plant when they decided to make us the "X" plant. Those are the facts. So to say that China isn't stealing Jeep's American jobs is just plain stupid!

Jeep and GM and other American manufacturers are expanding into the Chinese markets.  Jeep producing cars in China is a bastard of an idea because Jeeps have always been American, they were born of a government contract to support American troops.  Jeep squashed that rumor mainly because jeep's "American" branding is a big reason people buy them.

The lying sack of shit Romney tried to play that into getting the Ohio vote.  He did not realize that dragging their American name into his political shit sling fest would piss them off.

We were never going to ship jeeps to china.  They are cheap cars and China can make them way way cheaper.

You're a *****. They the sporty beamers here cause its easier to have them build to American DOT standards and then ship them to other places than it is to have them made to European standards and then fitted to meet ours.


How dumb do people have to be to not understand the concept of expansion?
