Hate's a strong word. I don't like Gus. I don't know if it's just his nature or what, but he doesn't stay in a program long enough to make anything positive happen. The whole "Boise of the south" thing really left me cold on him.

I haven't really followed recruiting that closely b/c I knew JLS and staff would be canned at seasons end but from what I have gathered we are waiting on Damon Mitchell and Denver Kirkland? Which would put us at 23 commits (I think). Anyone else we should be keeping an eye on tomorrow?

kenny lacy is committed to ucla but visited a couple weeks ago. yesterday some scout dude tweeted that Lacy had informed CBB and UCLA that he would be signing with the bruins tomorrow...

...and then today Lacy tweets 'WPS' and also tweets a pic of him and Kirkland with hog jerseys on

and theeeeeeen theres another, even less likely scenario that has Matthew Thomas (5* LB from Miami and teammate of Kirkland) as a NSD surprise for the hogs. Apparently their coach is still super angry at Miami for dicking around Kirkland, and he wants them both to play for Shannon on the hill. 0% this happens.

I'm 99% sure Lacy is headed to UCLA
99% Thomas to FSU
75% Kirkland to FSU.

But the coach at Booker T is super high on Randy Shannon and he's pissed at Florida coaches right now. Anything could happen

just for shits and giggles, if suddenly kirkland, lacy, thomas, and mitchell all committed right now, we'd be #14 according to rivals.

mitchell - 50%
kirkland - 35%
lacy - 10%
thomas - 0.0001%

and at least we will know early... hell thomas and kirkland will have announced before my alarm goes off
