Well he won't get away with that. As we all now know, targeting is illegal.

I'm 99.9% sure this rumor is bogus. The talk that Todd Grantham was being targeted as DC in Philly popped up well before the news that Chip Kelly had decided to become their head coach. NFL teams do not hire coordinators before they hire a head coach, and the scenario that "report" details is highly unlikely. Basically it says that the Eagles were going to hire a DC anyway, without having found a HC, but now that Kelly is hired he is trying to persuade Grantham to join him? The guy didn't have his own candidates? No, this seems like the person who spun this "rumor" has now changed it to try and make it seem like it still has legs.

Let's face it - Grantham didn't have a great season. His loaded defense underachieved quite a bit. I doubt he was on Philly's shortlist to fill the DC position.

Not to knock on Grantham, still think he's a great coach and all but after this past season I wouldn't think he'd be the hottest ticket in town. I'll be pissed if it ends up being true but like I said, he isn't nearly as hot this year as he was last year

Shouldn't shock anyone. He has 10 years as an NFL coach. In fact word is he missed at least one recruit in house visit today because of an interview with the Eagles.

Also word is Carolina's Ward would be near the top of the list for UGA to go after.

Grantham is out recruiting tonight and the insiders are saying he's staying.

Dawgvents is a good place. Dasher is pretty consistent with info, and is a class act all the way. I hear 247 is great too.

Insider I think is affordable.  And you get access to all the other sports stuff too.

It's all the same bullshit though.    I like the Rivals writers/reporters better though...well in the past.  I only have Insider now, that I got primarily for the NBA/NFL info.

I switched to 247 two years ago (used to pay for Rivals), and I love it. Gentry and Rusty are both great, and the Junkyard is a great board for dawg fans. It's as active as the dawgvent used to be, but with a better forum layout and much less bs drama.

I say let him go. I am tired of not being able to stop a rushing attack. Gimme someone new.

No idea as to who I would want as a replacement though.
