In other news i just read that Dictator Obama cannot use executive order to 1. Ban assault weapons, 2. Ban high capacity magazines. Both would have to go thru the house and then the senate. NO WAY IN HELL THIS MAKES IT PAST THE HOUSE. Obama will try it just to show hes doing something and when it fails he will blame republicans... but this is potentially good news for law abiding multiple gun owners like myself.

Obama is an idealist. Some of his ideas may not work out, but he has a lot of great ideas that should be attempted. When the American People elected hope and change 4 years ago and when they re-elected him that is what they wanted. I'm not on board with radical new gun legislation, but an effort to measuredly curb gun violence in this country is something we all should stand behind.

There is a lot more to running a country than gun policies. These negative rants about the president are just as nauseating as they were when Bush was in office.
