he is a marginal qualifier....from what i hear, scholly offers were pulled from the big 10 schools (michighan etc) because he would never qualify....obviously, our academic qualifying standards are much lower, so his intelligence on the matter is certainly in question.

if anything, this is going to bring some ncaa eyeballs on om recruiting practices.....better not get caught.....and with this class, yall have spurned enough sec teams to warrant some sec encouragement into look into yalls recruiting.  yall arent making many friends with this class.

Could be a test score thing.  If somebody has a good GPA but shits the bed on their tests, it tends to raise eyebrows.  Hell, you know as well as I do, MS schools are the worlds worst about inflating grades for athletes.  I've met far too many 3.5 GPA athlets who were dumber than a bag of hammers to think otherwise...

thats what i heard second hand.....but the admission standards to schools like michigan are very different than those to most sec schools, save vandy and maybe florida and another one or two.  his grades wont be a problem for om, but they MIGHT for a school known for its academics.  it could all be bullshit and ALL of my info is read via secondhand reports, but i wouldnt be surprised.  im not saying hes stupid....he would probably be in the top 40% of either of our classes academically....he just made a dumb decision.
