We are just plain BAD and we don't seem to be getting better. Sure we might show improvement for one game but that has yet to translate over into a stretch of games. We have some time still to get things straight but we don't seem to be going in the right direction.
We won tonight but on a play that should have been disallowed after seeing the replay but the rules don't allow college officials to review shot clock violations.
Just really disappointed in this team right now from top to bottom.

We are one conference game into the season...relax dude.
10-4 is our record, it could be worse.

Do you see any improvement for this team yet? Have you? Goodwin hasn't learned one thing yet as he continues to drive 1 on 4. Poythress is still a no-show. Wiltjer and Mays are in some of the deepest shooting slumps I've ever seen. Noel and WCS have been serviceable and Harrow is finally playing to his potential.
Vandy is a BAD basketball team. Good teams should have ran them out of the gym regardless if it was at home or at Vandy. Have you seen who they have lost to?
And even if it is early, WHEN do we start making the assumption that they are what they are because as of right now there has been ZERO improvement and the excuse of "wait until the end of the season" is getting older and older by the minute as they continue to do the same thing almost every night.

RPI is pretty big to the NCAA Tournament committee but many people are staring to recognize its a flawed system that can be manipulated. Regardless, it is still a big part in determining who gets into the dance.
With tonights win, Kentucky now has two top 200 wins. Who was the other one you ask? Maryland (91).

2 years ago? Know your facts. Through 14 games 2 years ago this team was 12-2 with wins against Oklahoma, #11 Washington, #23 Notre Dame, Indiana, and #20 Louisville. Our losses at that point were to UConn (eventual national champions) and North Carolina (Elite 8).
They were WORLDS apart at this point time when you compare the teams.

Chill out, its Jan. We played on the road in a messed up arena. Granted this game probably should be in overtime but its a win. We're fine
A win is a win, I agree on that point..... but we are FAR from fine. What do you think is "fine" with our current basketball team?

The bottom line is that I call it like I see it. If I see an issue, I will say something and I'm also one of the first to congratulate/praise them if they are doing something right. Unfortunately this isn't the case.

All that research was unnecessary, but thanks. My point was (and its indisputable) that this team is far more talented. To add to that, college basketball is WAY down from that year. There isn't one team outside of Duke and Kansas that scares me.
The sky is not falling.

We went 10-6 in the SEC but still got to the final four. Vandy will always be a hard place to win and i just don't see us losing 6 conference games. Despite how horrific this conference is we'll still get to the tourney. Good possibility it'll be a 8 or 9 seed but we'll get in.
This.
All the SEC schools are screwed when it comes to seeding, but UF, UK, and Mizzou will get in just fine.

“We who lived in concentration camps can remember the men who walked through the huts comforting others, giving away their last piece of bread. They may have been few in number, but they offer sufficient proof that everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms -- to choose one's attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one's own way.”
