Kentucky legislature approved $256 million in bonding for the University of Kentucky, 110 million for upgrades for Commonwealth Stadium and the Nutter Training Center, which will include a new recruiting center and other improvements. Upgrades for the stadium will be a new Press Box on top of the south upper deck, club seating for 2500, new luxury suites where the old press box was between the upper and lower decks, chair back seating throughout the stadium, which will be great and some expansion of seating capacity, that is yet to be announced, we know of at least 2500 more lol due to the club seating, I'd say a bump to 75,000 from 68,000....so for sold out games we could pack in close to 80k.  It was said that Coach Stoops would have much input on this. Construction to start this spring and be completed by spring of 2015. UK is stating this would make CWS one of the most modern fan friendly/comfortable and up to date stadium in the league. It may not be the biggest, but it will be one of the nicest, this also includes exterior updates.

UK is determined to make Football the equal of basketball and put an ultra competitive product on the field. For once, finally the school if putting their money where their mouth is...giving football tje resources it will need to truly compete at a level expected of a winning SEC football program. Finally we UK football fans have hope, excitement and something to look forward to. Starting with NSD, we have about 12 4* recruits on campus this weekend with several high 3*'s also. When you consider where we were just a year ago with Joker and his nimwits, they were lucky to have a few 3* players in for visits. I'm excited as Coach Stoops is getting a very late start and we have a legitimate shot at signing a top 25 class. Next year I will expect that, he has loaded his staff with good coaches who are great recruiters. GBB!
