The Philadelphia Eagles have interviewed Notre Dame's Brian Kelly for their coaching vacancy, league sources told ESPN.

Kelly met with the Eagles on Tuesday, and there was mutual interest after the interview, according to league sources. Kelly left the country after meeting with the Eagles and could not be reached for comment.

The Eagles and Kelly have agreed to revisit talks when he returns this weekend, according to league sources.

STAY TUNED lol

Let me get this straight. We're going to be "gifted" with a health care plan we are forced to purchase and will be fined for if we don't, written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that hasn't read it but exempts itself from it, signed by a president who smokes, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese and financed by a country that's broke.

What could possibly go wrong?

ESPN's Chris Mortenson and Adam Schefter "broke" this story thanks to their "sources."

It came out today they both have the same agent as Brian Kelly.    Sounds like the agent pushing for the biggest raise possible for Kelly at ND.

The way that game went, I wouldn't doubt it if he was seriously considering it.

He is crazy if he leaves Notre Dame. If he wants trouble he will find it in Philly. They have a very savage fanbase from what I understand. They will brook no nonsense. Win or else.

Please don't come to Philly. My die-hard Eagles fan of a wife is pissed they are even interviewing him.

Apparently lost a recruit because he interviewed.
