I don't think it's safe to assume he's the only former player posting here.

I don't care if he is a former player or not. I know former athletes who don't know their ass from their elbow about the sport they were playing.

Well it is rather simple. Just lots of options and variances within each play. The complexity of it is continuity and recognition

I just don't buy Freezes offense being "simple" I've seen too many different types of plays and formations watching all 12 games. But I get what you're saying

80% of your plays are based off a counter read.

I dunno man I beg to differ. It may not be the most complicated offense in the world but I don't think you can just stick any old joe in at QB and have him pick it up immediately.

Until 28 provides evidence that he was, indeed, a State football player, I'll not believe it. Regardless, that matters not.
Hell, if he was, I'd think that would be something to be proud of and he would let ppl know who he was/is rather than all this secrecy, if what he asserts is, indeed, true.

And in regards to 28's comments about Wallace, yep dude, you're right. It'll take him a month or two to get back into the swing of things.
I doubt he scampers about nearly as much as he did this year. Look for Brunetti or Miller to QB on those type of plays.

There is no counter about the basic read you are saying we run 80% of the time.

The basic play they most run:    It's a stretch type of zone read for the RB. the RG pulls left against the flow and has a seal block if the QB decides to keep it.  The passing options out of this is a 5 yard hitch to the X receiver, Bubble to the slot receiver, or a Quick the the outside receiver. (Z)  The TE also will  on occasion slip across the formation with a delayed route.    We killed Pitt with this "simple" base play , Bo is making about 7 different reads in a couple of seconds.

I don't think you guys are understanding what 28 is trying to say.  The formations and plays are simple.  The options are simple.  The complexity is reading the defense and making the correct call at the line of scrimmage.  It's a simple scheme, but the person making the calls has to have a good understanding of whats going on.  The qb is more of a manager

I pretty much broke it down in my post above.. It's simple but very hard to defend.. Bo is making a crazy amount of reads in just a split second.

As I said if "simple" is getting 35+ points a game then i'll take "simple" all damn day.

Most college offenses are simple honestly.
