But still.... still I'm sad. Not for what Bama did or Auburn didn't do. No my sadness runs deeper than that. I'm sad that when the final seconds of the game tonight ticked away it was not just that game coming to an end. No, it also heralded the end of the 2012 college football season. Sure, we've still got the NFL playoffs and the Super Bowl left to go. And there will be the usual Blue / Gray and Senior Bowls. But none of that is college football... real college football anyway. No, it's over. Welcome to the post season, boys.

LEGENDARY

I hear ya. I have other hobbies, just a suggestion. Time to go hunting, fishing, work on my cars and get better at welding.

That's all well and good. But nobody outside of Kentucky ever considers basketball season as a equal replacement for football season. Nothing but next football season can fill that void.

Not equal replacement, but I do enjoy it a lot, winning helps my enjoyment though, if we sucked I'd still watch, but my withdrawals from football would start a lot sooner.
