Assistant HC/D-Line coach? I think it's good to drop the "Co-DC" roll.

Outstanding move. The players like Collins better, recruits like Wilsons.
Makes sense.

You think we'll maybe see the "Assistant Head Coach" tag applied to Wilson? That way it doesn't necessarily seem like a "demotion".

We need to do whatever it takes to make him feel valuable because he is. He signed our best DL class ever and fended off Bama for Quay.
I think moving forward that he will be known as a recruiter. We need him, we need a good DC.
We may have found out a way to have both.

Or hell.... Recruiting Coordinator? Someone said maybe that is his "niche". Wasn't Melvin the recruiting coordinator? I'm certain Wilson would do excellent in that roll.
RC/DL Coach. He would most certainly maintain our trench defenses by drafting only the strongest and most hardnosed of chaps to tend to our walls!

egh, im not going to jump up and down because this to me had to be the least that would have to happen...i do like that we're changing it up so hopefully this works out for the best...if we continue to see 3 man fronts and nothing but bull rushing all year long next year, i will still be upset...i want twists and stunts and more pressure from the DE position and with autry, brown, smith, and jones, it should happen...

Good lord he was killing it.

Canning Koenning won't make a difference. The playcalls still will have to go through Merlin, and he is almost as bad at calling plays as recruiting.

i like mullen is trying to mix it up, but i hope he doesnt blame all on the defense.....surely he sees the inadequacies of the offense....this offense is llke trying to roll on square wheels all while shifting into random gears....well, at least against teams worth a shit. we seem to have it together vs shit teams....whatever it may be, it needs fixing.
